Russ, Linda, and their teenage children, Sophie(17) and Luke(15), have the call of God on their lives to the mission field. Russ has resigned from a secure job at a local secondary school in Gosport. We have individually heard the call the God and are determined to accomplish what God requires of us, no matter what opposition comes our way. We sold our home in Gosport in August 2003 and have lived in 5 different temporary accommodations since then. In our spare time we have travelled up and down the UK sharing our vision with others.

Russ and Linda both have passionate hearts and love for children. They have headed Sunday School work and Children's outreaches for the last 14 years. Together as a family they have led and ministered worship. They have also played and preached in street outreaches. Linda, Sophie and Luke have done many outreaches into homes for the elderly. Sophie and Luke especially have a burden on their hearts to encourage, and to minister to, their own age group. Their call to Guatemala will involve all of these activities plus many more.

The vision of the Humphries Family is to minister to the people of Guatemala in evangelistic outreaches, and street, music, youth and children's evangelism: to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost. They have a burden laid upon their hearts to establish an orphanage with an attached school. They will be working alongside local people in the poor villages/communities in different catergories of ministry such as education for children, sports for youth, and arts and crafts for the adults.

Most important of all is being amongst them to share the love of Jesus Christ.
