Statement of Faith
Our statement of belief is according to The Apostle’s Creed:-
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day, He rose again. He ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
We believe also:-
The Bible in its entirety to be the inspired and infallible Word of God:
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
That only through the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ there is personal salvation and cleansing from sin :
“Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things...but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.” (1 Peter 1:18-19)
“..the blood of Jesus Christ His son cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7)
In the power of the Cross of Jesus Christ for salvation and healing:
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes..” (Romans 1:16)
“Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness – by Whose stripes you were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
In water baptism, and in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues as on the Day of Pentecost, and in the nine manifold Gifts of the Holy Spirit:
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
In the soon-coming of the Lord Jesus Christ:
“Surely I come quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20)
